Itinerary summary; This package will take you to Tsavo West National Park and Amboseli National Park. Kindly find full itinerary as below;
Day 1: Pick up at 7.30am at Nairobi Hotel or the airport then drive to Tsavo West National Park, arrive in time for hot lunch then have an afternoon game drive. Tsavo has an area of 20,810 km square (8035 sq miles) and varies in altitude from 230 to 200m (755 to 6562 ft). The main Nairobi and Mombasa split the park into two halves, Tsavo East and Tsavo West. Tsavo West is the most visited section in Tsavo National Park offering many attraction apart from its wildlife. The foremost is the famous Mzima springs where up to 227.3 million liters of cool crystal clear water flow out of the ground through porous volcanic rocks. Dinner and Overnight at Camp or Lodge.
Day 2: We will have a full day game drive in Tsavo West with picnic lunch provided. Tsavo West National Park has a variety of wildlife, such as eastern black rhinoceros, hippopotamus, Cape buffalo, elephant, leopard and Masai lion. There are also other smaller animals that can be spotted in the park, such as the bushbaby, hartebeest, lesser kudu and Masai giraffe. Dinner and Overnight at Camp or Lodge.
Day 3: After breakfast, we will drive to Amboseli National Park, arrive in time for hot lunch then have an afternoon game drive. This is Kenya’s second most popular park in terms of numbers of visitors. Amboseli benefits from the most beautiful backdrop imaginable the grandiose snow-covered peak of Mt Kilimanjaro the highest point of the African continent at 5,895m. Elephants are the emblem of Amboseli and they are everywhere with about five animals per square mile. A herd of elephant lumbering along beneath the snowy summit of Kilimanjaro is a sight you will never forget. Dinner and Overnight at Camp or Lodge.
Day 4: Today we will have a full day game drive with picnic lunch provided in Amboseli National Park. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah, and woodlands. Amboseli offers some of the best opportunities to see African wildlife because the vegetation is sparse due to the long dry months. Amboseli National Park is home to many species, including elephants, Cape buffaloes, impala, Kilimanjaro lions, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, Masai giraffes, plains zebras and blue wildebeest among other African animals. There is also a host of Kenyan birds, both large and small. Ove can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture. Day 5: We will have a sunrise game drive, breakfast then drive back to Nairobi. Drop off at the airport to catch your flight back home or to your next destination.
